Every year as I pack away Christmas decorations, I feel a sense of nostalgia for the past year and anticipation of the next. As I re-decorate my house for the new year, sometimes things go back just like they were before Christmas, but often I want a fresh look throughout my home.
Today’s post is a look at a few vignettes created with both the future and the past in mind. I did this in order to remind me throughout 2015 of what is important.
Shelter, knowledge and respect for time.
Spending time with the Gardener
Family
Life, reflection and me.
Balance
A cozy nest
Communication
Remain active. “Moss doesn’t grow on a rolling stone.”
A cup of tea with those I love.
Playfulness is a good thing.
As for me and my house…
Be ever ready for sloppy kisses
Choose the path of beauty.
May my heart always be at the foot of the cross.
Open doors and open windows
Children
Graciously receive comfort from my Lord
And give generously to my man.
May the Spirit of Christmas be an evergreen in your garden.
