Since we live in a tourist town, on occasion, we have a guest or two staying with us. As I was reading over at Southern Hospitality Blog this morning, I found the neatest idea, and it got my wheels to spinning. Luggage stands are usually stored away until needed, but what if we used them all the time? Here are a few ideas…
Painting an old piece of luggage and attaching it to a table or sitting it on a luggage stand would make a great guest room piece. Don’t you just love this?

I found this idea on Pinterest, but the link was broken to the original pinner, so I’m sorry I can’t give credit where credit is due. But, what a great idea! Put a luggage stand in your laundry room to hold your basket and protect your back.
Louis Vitton luggage makes a classy statement in the foyer.
I love how this decorator used a round piece of glass on this luggage stand. It gives it a more modern presence. Any shape of glass would be fabulous, though.
Wouldn’t Fluffy love looking out a window on this lovely bed?
I love this idea! You can purchase one like this or create one of your own. For a guest room, I’d add a pretty guest book and pen, a dish of mints, a devotional or book of poems and one of those pretty water glass sets.

So, I don’t know about you, but I’m heading out today for a day of antiquing/thrifting and perhaps a salvage yard or two. See you later. Oh, and thanks Rhoda for all this inspiration!
You are welcome to add pins to my For the Home board on Pinterest. I would love to hear how you’ve used a luggage stand.
