Packing List for Alaskan Cruise

Day 3 of 31 Days of Alaska offers a packing list to make your planning a bit easier. This will be broken down into 4 different legs of the Pacific Coast trip. This plan is for a 2 week trip.

Prepare for your flight.

  • Pack your carry-on with liquids in an outside pocket to make it easy to get through security.
  • Stow personal jewelry in a plastic bag until after passing through security. You can put your jewelry on after you’ve put your shoes back on and made it through the metal detector.
  • Keep boarding pass, driver’s license and passport in an accessible but secure pocket.
  • Use a backpack-handbag to allow room for more items. This is also much easier to carry than a shoulder bag. Pack the following:
  1. Earplanes to help with pressure during landing and take-off. (found at Wal-Mart)
  2. Chewing Gum
  3. Hand Sanitizer
  4. Chapstick
  5. Phone/tablet and earbuds for listening to podcasts
  6. Electronics’ chargers
  7. Medication
  8. Power Shot or similar camera
