Snack Contest
A few days ago I replied to a Southern Living Porch email that I would like to participate in a promotion they have going on during football season. The promotion was only open to a few hundred participants. Today I find this in my inbox:

Your special package will arrive via mail in just a few days. Then we ask that you stage a photo of you and your friends/family enjoying your Blue Diamond Tailgating Essentials on Gameday (either at home or away) and share the photo on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram with the hashtag #gamedaysnack. The top three sharers at the end of November will receive an Ultimate Box of Southern Tailgating Essentials from Blue Diamond and Southern Living. How very exciting for moi! It’s kind of like I won something and I don’t typically win things. So! I want to share this whole experience with you and hopefully get suggestions from you guys as to how I might win the grand prize! I’ll need Auburn ideas and pro ideas, particularly for the Steelers (my hubby is a fan). I would love ideas for decor, recipes with Blue Diamond products and anything else we all come up with for this very fun project.
And, isn’t it just marvelous how timing just seems to work out sometimes? I have my first photography lesson with a pro tomorrow at 11:00. I’ve wanted to take a class for a long time, and with the England trip coming up, I thought now was as good a time as any to educate myself. And now I have this!
