Christmas Wreaths

Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!

Yes, it will be time to decorate again soon. I decided to use my 31 day challenge to awaken my sleeping pine wreaths and replace their faded ribbon. Today’s 31 Days of Flipping Out includes 6 wreaths and a mailbox cover. They were all fluffed and adorned with new 21″ mesh ribbon that I purchased after Christmas last year. As the season begins, my happy little wreaths will announce to the neighborhood….

Christmas Time is finally here,
It only comes but once a year.
And it’s a time to spread good cheer,
To those we love and hold so dear.

The first step is to wrap the end of the ribbon with a couple of the pine branches to get started.

Just take your branches and twist them tightly over the ribbon. No need to use floral wire or hot glue.

Continue to attach the ribbon about 4-6 inches a part until you get the look you want.

They are now decking the garage halls until it’s time to hang them outdoors on our windows. The large ones are placed on our windows and the smaller ones on the front door.

To make a very simple bow, cut about a 16-18 inch piece of ribbon. Gather the center of the ribbon together and secure as you did the ribbon – by twisting the branches around the bow.

Christmas Time is a time of glee,
A time when peace and love run free.
A time for those like you and me,
To sit beneath the Christmas Tree.

I’m looking forward to seeing friends and family as we share fun stories around the Christmas tree. Stop in and tell me one sometime… What projects are you completing now? Have you started your shopping?
