Brief post today. If you’re looking for something fun to leave the nest for, check out these events this week.
Of course, you must celebrate Cinco de Mayo somewhere that includes chips, salsa, margaritas and a mariachi band. A festive sombrero is a must.
- The next day, you could mingle with filmmakers and film lovers at the Sidewalk Salon. ~ May 6, 2014.
- If you were/are a Pink Floyd fan, the Brit Floyd Concert will be at the BJCC on May 6th.
- David A. Arnold will be at the StarDome Comedy Club this week.
- The very first annual GuitarBeerQue is at Regions Field on May 9th.
And of course, if that’s not enough, you could always re-visit Vulcan, take a stroll through Railroad Park, hike through Oak Mountain State Park or shop at the outlets of Grand River. Whatever you do this week, I hope it’s filled with laughter.
